The book offers a vision of the Andean culture and of the cosmic cycles of the Incas that can help better understand the reasons that brought the Maya civilization to end their astronomic calculations on the much discussed December 21st 2012, without entering the thoughts and ideas of the different cultures. The Aztecas, Mayas and Incas all share a sacred symbol: the sun. All these people were big astronomers and mathematicians and knew well the effects of the sun on the solar system and in particular the ones exerted on the earth.
The author writes, woven in a novel, about the solar disk and the masters who lead the spiritual work in each cycle, and he especially highlights the prophecy of “Inkariy” which talks of a new cycle that will originate in the Andes. The descendants of Quechuas and Aymaras, who last played an important role in the “Tawantinsuyo” period, are waiting for a new master who will talk about the spirituality of the Andes. The characters of this story are a couple: he’s a Peruvian shaman and she’s a doctor, both live an experience in the Titicaca lake which will make them enter into a new spiritual dimension and into the future task that is assigned to them at the arrival of the new cycle.
